I'd like to introduce you to my twin. She's a side of me that I think quite a lot of us who have depression and anxiety can relate too. She's a side that I don't show many people apart from medical professionals or very close family and friends.
However, by embracing the other side of me and sharing it with you all I hope it brings some comfort and reassurance to you that it's okay to not always be okay. Mental health can be a very challenging and long road sometimes, full of twists and turns. One minute you might be feeling much better, and then the next very overwhelmed and under the weather. I want you to know that it happens to us all, and that there is no shame if some days your twin makes more of an appearance then you do.
